ONLINE TRAINING: MINDFULNESS

During the online mindfulness training you learn to meditate yourself, at home and at your own pace, where you can repeat a session as often as you want. 

During meditation we focus on mindfulness. We bring our attention to this moment. We do this by directing (focusing) attention, for example on the body, breathing or on the sounds you hear. This makes it easier for you to let go of thoughts, sounds or unwanted physical sensations, and you are less or no longer bothered by them. By practicing this regularly, you will gain more and more control over where you focus your attention. This makes it easier, for example, to stop worrying thoughts: at such moments you consciously focus your attention on something else. By practicing meditation you learn to 'tame the mind', so to speak. This teaches you to deal with tension and stress.

Who is the training intended for?

  • For people who want to learn to deal with stress and tension in a different way.
  • For people with physical, mental and emotional complaints. Examples: cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, all complaints linked to stress, depressive and anxiety complaints, burn out, worrying, gastrointestinal complaints.
  • For people who want to learn to deal better with complaints of a chronic nature, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, chronic diseases (for example diabetes, fibromyalgia, kidney diseases), etc.
  • For people who want to learn to meditate because they want to gain more contact with their own lives, with the choices they make and for people who want to step out of the daily routine of life and learn to experience every moment consciously.
  • Parents who want to deal with their children in a different way, managers and employees who want to improve the quality of their work, young people who are looking for themselves. Teachers and care providers who want to improve the quality of their contacts with students and those seeking help

You can complete this training yourself. If you prefer to receive extra support, you can choose to schedule an individual session in addition to the training.
